Flower Vases... this page is the spin-off from the page on flower pots ... and I have created this page just because I found such beautiful containers for flower arrangements! Once I give you the links to these pages I know you will be entranced, as I was, and I shall have lost you, my visitor... so can I ask you to please bookmark this website before you leave us!?! I presume you are searching for some, or one, of the same reasons, and, as such, you will have a particular size, kind, type and shape of vase in mind. There are many ways to buy flower vases and containers, on-line and off... Craft Fairs to Auctions, Chain Stores to Florists and Individual boutique type shops. If you know what you are looking for... then all well and good... BUT, if you are shopping for a friend as a gift, why not tie up a new book with a suitable vase for one of the arrangements in it? [See our Books - Choosing Books webpage.] Modern arrangements require totally different receptacles and I have two suggestions to offer as to where you can find a suitable container. But, if you find a beautiful traditional vase, (like the glass ones on offer below) then a simple bunch of one type of flower in a single color to compliment the vase... will make an ideal special gift. My first suggestion/link will take you to a very special place... a UK based website which does do International orders (I hope you have a few hours to spare! You may well get sidetracked whilst at the site) . . . . . If you scroll down to 'Gifts', then click on 'Glassware', go down to 'Glass Flowers', and finally choose 'Bunches of Flowers' you will see a glorious collection of glass flowers. Your hardest job will be to choose just one... I could make out a case for most of the really beautiful vases which are displayed on the website. Why not drool over them now! Yes, this is a jewellery shop. As such, it has the most beautiful jewelry... and also loads of other wonderful gifts, including vases for the glass flowers mentioned above. It's a Black Thang stocks some gorgeous looking vases. Just click on the 'Home Decor' link at the top of the page, then scroll down the resultant page till you come to the vases. Although ebay.com is the worldwide website, and the original, you may well find what you are searching for on ebay.co.uk... and some of the sellers are quite willing to ship Internationally. If there is a particular item which you covet, and they state that they will only ship to the UK, why not strike up a personal dialogue with the seller? They could well agree to ship Internationally as a favour for a 'friend'!
