Flower Sympathy

FLOWER sympathy... whether you want to send flowers to the bereaved relatives or friends, as well as, or instead of a card... just to show you care, and at a time when no-one really knows what to say, or when to say it... or whether you want to send a floral tribute to the deceased... the following websites have a caring and helpful attitude to all who use their services.

I know I have arranged for wreaths from some florists in my local town and been most disappointed in the finished products... they seemed to have NO knowledge of the principles or elements of design. So, if you do decide to buy locally after all... please state very clearly what you do, and do not, want. I always go for a single colour, when I doubt the competence of the florist... that way, at least one element of design will be OK!

It begins 'Dear Madam', and thanks me for my email, then continues to state the policies for delivery of flower sympathy orders... I quote...

"Acutally if you place the order delivery for a Sympathy wreath please do state the funeral home only. In the UK it is common, that Sympathy wreaths are only delivered to the funeral homes.

Also the florists do take special care for funeral tributes and do check too where best to delivery.

When you order please do state the name of the recipient and chose "the late". In the special instruction you may enter any additional information which might be useful for the florist/delivering party to secure a timed delivery.

I think this is more than adequate proof of their willingness to please.
