What Flowers Are YOUR Favorites?
This page is a mini site map of flowers and related crafts and also contains information about shows in the UK. Each page will have it's own write-up, which will explain the contents of the page. I hope that this will save your time when you are searching for something in particular... for example, tips on conditioning roses. I love flowers, growing them, looking at them, smelling their perfume, enjoying the amazing variety of color and shape. They are truly a marvel of creation. On this page you will find links to pages about individual species and information on a wide variety of topics, such as conditioning roses, wild flower seeds, photography and art. If you are looking for specific blooms... like daisies, roses, hawaiian, lilies, lotus blossoms, and tulips, this is your starting point. Maybe you're searching by color, for example, purple... or season, like Fall or Easter or Spring or Summer, you will find that here too. * * *

Here in the UK we are very lucky in our expert television coverage of all the major Floral Shows. We can view them as just a wonderful aesthetic spectacle... or as a learning experience... or both. It doesn't matter which, but, in truth, for all those who enjoy plants in any way... they are a real joy! Besides shows held by the Royal Horticultural Society, add a list of Agricultural Shows which incorporate Floral sections... like the Royal Show at Stoneleigh near Kenilworth in Warwickshire [UK] held in early July... and you have a formidable list before you begin to mention the shows held in villages and towns up and down the country. Late summer also sees the Sandringham Flower Show (Norfolk, UK) which used to be always visited by The Queen Mother. If you are a royal watcher it is a very good place to visit. As well as all these possibilities to view plants there are many, many, gardens which are open to the paying public either individually, maybe all year round, or as part of the
National Gardens Scheme...
where private gardens are opened to the public in aid of charity and we are truly well catered for! Return to Home page
