Flower Magazines
Flower Magazines galore . . .
Go to any news-stand or store and you will find a vast selection of flower magazines. [Supermarkets, too, normally have quite a good choice.]
You will find that there are many different types of magazine within the flower category.
Mainly, they are about gardening and garden design, also there are quite a few on home and garden. But the choice is large and all the formats are different.
If you already know which magazine you want, just want to arrange a subscription (either for yourself, or as a gift) then I can recommend the following links... one for UK, the other for US...

and for the US...
MagMall.com - subscription savings on 1,000's of magazines
As a new facility I am offering a direct link [with a special offer] to the BHG magazine... Get a FREE year of Better Homes and Gardens magazine! Click here for details.
Yes, it is a more general magazine, but has many craft items within its pages, some of which have to do with flowers... and the gardening section is a delight.
Alternative Choices
There are so many different choices of ways of obtaining a flower magazine subscription that it is difficult to know where to start without being boring!
You could go over to my Flower Magazines from our Books...choosing books page page where you will find alternative ideas for flower magazine suppliers.
But please don't go until I have made these further suggestions which may prove even more interesting!

If I receive a flower magazine subscription as a gift I always just thoroughly enjoy it! (Gift subscriptions make wonderful presents for Birthdays or Christmas. A gift which really lasts!)
But, ask me to choose a flower magazine to subscribe to and it becomes virtually impossible, because one month I prefer one, another month it is another!
Often a particular magazine comes with a packet of flower seeds, a special offer on a plant, or some bulbs as a free gift... this can be a very welcome added bonus.

As well as buying flower magazines you might consider joining a society, this should provide many benefits... usually a free monthly or quarterly magazine is included as part of the offer.
How about considering membership of the RHS or NAFAS? (Incidentally, did you know NAFAS is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society?)
Royal Horticultural Society
National Association of Flower Arranging Societies
Amongst the many plus points of membership of the RHS, is the benefit of wonderful monthly flower magazines.
As for NAFAS, click the link to their website, on the left hand side you will see a link to 'The Flower Arranger Magazine Website'... if you click that you will find details of their quarterly magazine. Incidentally, you can view pictures and details from the current magazine online. See what you think!

A couple of further ideas... remember seed, plant and bulb catalogues can be a good source of flower pictures, which, in turn, will be a source of inspiration. A bonus is that they are normally free!
Here is a link to our Wild Flower Seeds page. You can get catalogues from the suppliers... Thompson & Morgan have a lovely catalogue.
The other idea is to get a copy of the wonderful 'Yellow Book'... The Plant Finder... with lots of exceptional gardens to visit... National Garden Scheme
