Flower Lavender
Lavender Flowers
First a short summary of what you will find on this page.
If I was searching for 'flower lavender' it could be for a list of flowers which were lavender colored, maybe because I wanted ideas for a 'Lavender' border.
It could be a search for plants of Lavendula [lavender].
Or maybe for dried lavender flowers to use for making lavender bags, or lavender wreaths.
Alternatively, it could be for lavender products... such as soaps and creams.
The above ideas came to my mind so I am going to cover all the above searches (and more) within this page.
[If you, personally, were looking for something else... please, can you let me know by using our 'Contact Us' page... then I can try to rectify the sad omission! Thanks.]
First a Quick List for a Flower Lavender Border. I think we have more or less everything covered here, from ground cover plants, through bulbs, rhyzomes, annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees...

Scabious
Michaelmas Daisy
Erigeron 'Festivity'
Iris... from the tiny ones which appear early in Spring to the Bearded variety of Summer
Violets &Violas
Sea Holly
Hosta
Hyssop
Nepeta [Catmint]
Anemone [all types]
Crocus... Spring and Autumn flowering varieties

Petunia
China Aster
Aquilegia
Campanula
Aubrietia
Aster Alpinus
Ramonda Nathaliae
Blue Moonwort
Rhododendron

Moss Phlox
Thymus
Clematis
Wisteria
Heather
SolanumCrispum
Vinca Manor
Hebe
Buddleia
Hibiscus
and, lastly for this list:
Lavendula spica [Old English Lavender]!
The above list should give quite a good basis for a flower lavender border.
Perhaps, to give it a more modern feel a few of the glorious grasses which are now available could be added.
If you wanted to add a few contrasting highlights, maybe something in white like Japanese Anemone or white Tulips or Lilies could be added. Alternatively, you might consider lemon as a contrasting color... there are some lovely Aquilegia in lemon, or Violas, Tulips or miniature Narcissi.

In the UK two more of the searches can be satisfied at ... Crocus. Type 'lavender' into the bottom of the two search boxes which are near the top right of the page.
You will get quite a selection of actual lavender plants... including french lavender, english lavender, cotton lavender [which is yellow] and a gorgeous lavender tree peony. You will also get a selection of lavender gifts from bath products to candles.
If you are going to grow lavender plants for the first time... then at the bottom of the "lavender" page in ... Crocus ... you will find two extremely helpful and informative articles on flower lavender cultivation.
Lavendula is a native of the dry Mediterranean region, and as such likes an open sunny spot to grow in, and a well drained soil. So if you cannot provide conditions which correspond to that, it will not grow successfully. You could try growing it in a large container, pot, or tub, in well drained soil in an open sunny spot - just add some fine gravel and some horticultural sand to your favourite potting medium!
Why not read the brilliant advice available free on the Crocus website? There are links to a couple of articles on lavender at the bottom of the page where you find the plants and lavender products for sale.

One final thought ..... I had not mentioned the idea of searching for flower lavender actual flowers delivered to someone by a florist.
This wonderful Flowers for Friends and Family website is my choice, simply because they are SO helpful, have live help 24 x 7, free shipping...and so many other plus points.
When you have chosen your particular bouquet or arrangement just follow these instructions which you will find on the website ..... "What to do if I want specific flowers? Please order the product that nearest matches your choice and put the specific requirements that you have in the special instructions field of the order form. For. example, if you want a bouquet of only of red & yellow mixed flowers, choose the Fresh Seasonal Bouquet product and the write in the special instructions 'Only Red & Yellow flowers please'."
So, if you follow those instructions and write in "flower lavender colored only please" they will do their utmost to satisfy that request.
Please just click over to the website, read a few of the many testimonials, and their pledges of service... I don't think you could find better!
Part of one testimonial reads... "Your company is the new international standard for service delivery in the florist industry - Keep Up The Great Work!"... obviously, a truly satisfied customer!
Just click the link to Send Flowers to 180 countries ... to friends and family.
If all the above has failed to satisfy your particular search... I have two further suggestions. One, please let me know (as mentioned above). Two, when all else fails try eBay! ... it's bound to come up trumps!
