There is always the rule that 'practice makes perfect,' but 'perfect' may be a long time coming. So another road to go down, and an extra interest to pursue, would be to learn to draw. To achieving that goal, the following links to four of the best books on learning the art of drawing are included for your perusal.
I have a copy of Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards [her previous book], and found it informative and enlightening... it is quite surprising what you can achieve. I recommend that you look at all four books, and read the reviews... but, in the end, it is all down to personal preference.
Once you have mastered the art of drawing flowers, you may wish to go on to painting. There are many ways to increase your skills, as well as the obvious... that you draw and sketch something each day! It is possible to do much learning from Books. Alternatively, you may wish to attend courses in person; or you can take distance learning courses over the internet. We have pages on Books... Choosing Books and Courses which I am sure will further feed your imagination. Good luck in all your Flower Drawing! Check out... Flower Portfolio for... flower paintings, prints, articles and a free flower painting e-course.
