Ireland
For Gardeners, Lovers of Wildflowers, as a Holiday Destination... plus much more
IRELAND... what first comes to mind as gardeners and flower lovers when you think of Eire?

If wild flowers are your passion, then surely the Burren limestone pavements must be close to the top. The following website is a mine of useful information on everything about them, including the distribution of these pavements in the UK, Ireland, and Sweden.
Limestone Pavements
When you have a look around the website you will even find the recipe, which the late Geoff Hamilton used and recommended on the Gardeners World TV programme in the UK, for making artificial rocks.

Following the Burren with its glorious wildflowers, I want to mention a website which deals with gardens in Eire, a useful map is included [definitely an unmissable resource] which features a very useful garden trail.
